Cain and Abel: Why did God accept Abel's offering and not Cain's?

Had a very interesting discussion yesterday with some friends @ http://www.community4christ.com.

[bible]Genesis 4:1-8[/bible]
Some notes to point out:
a) Abel brought the firstborn, or first fruits, of his flock.
b) Cain was angry for God not having regard for his offering.
c) God's respond: "If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it."
d) Cain's reaction: "Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him."

So looking at this and the noticed points, we can come to some conclusions:
a) Abel brought his first fruits of his labor, were as Cain did not. Otherwise why would Abel's offering had been noted to have been the firstborn or first fruits?
b) Cain being upset seems to me had some sort of sin in his heart before God rejected his offering. Being angry is not the 1st reaction to a righteous man.
c) God informs Cain and warns him that "sin is crouching at the door" since he did not do well. What was not done well in God's sight not exactly sure, however we can assume that Cain's heart, or faith, was not in the right place when he offered his offering.
d) Cain let sin conquer his actions by killing his brother instead of taking the warning that God gave him.

The question is, why would God take one's offering over another? Simply because of it being their first fruits?

Abel's offering was given by faith, were as Cain's was not. For Abel's faith God considered Abel to be a righteous man.

This is further explained in the book of Hebrews:

So what is to be learned from the story of Cain and Abel?

God knows your heart and where your faith is. If your faith is right with God, He will count you as righteous. And even though bad things may happen to those that love God, we can take comfort in that we know that God is always with us and will never forsake us. Even after this body died, God still blesses us.

Grow in your faith, and see what God will do in your life. For God blesses those who love Him.

Proof of Your Salvation

You are saved by God's grace, period. No matter what you do or how much you do, you can not save yourself. We are not deserving of Mercy or Salvation. But becuase God loved us that He gave Himself up on the Cross, it is by His Grace that we are saved. Not by how much good we do, not by what we say... we DO NOT have the ability to save ourselves. We can not work or buy our way to God or Heaven. His Grace is the open door that He opened for us all to be accepted by Him. This door is a life changing door, It is a door for perpetual change in that if we are to truely believe in Him and walk with Him, then all things that are sin, or the result of sin, will pass away since they can not abide in this new creature that God has made in you as a result of your accepted salvation.

Are you sure you are saved?

Do you really believe in Christ and His Word?

These aren't retorical questions but serious ones. Something has to happen for you to be saved. You have to bear fruit.

Being saved is some overnight change in everything you do. God will guide you to a path that will prepare you for the things of God and the things the He will direct you to do. He will cleanse you of your sin and wickedness. As with most things, this is a learning process for us. God, over time, will get you into His will and out of your own will.

The fruit has to reflect the status of your salvation. What I mean is that IF you are really saved, then you are continually working with Christ to not just better yourself, but to better yourself in God's sight. You are getting rid of the old you, your old habits, your old desires, and replacing them with what God sees as good, holy and righteous.

You will be in a constant state of change into something that God favors.

So being saved isn't an instant process of being able to get away from your sins, you still have to deal with them. You are a new creature, but the sin and its results are still in the world, and part of this process for you is to get rid of that, which takes time and guidance from God. He will direct your pathto a righteous life and one that is favorable to God.

Being saved is a life altering event... but most are not instant in the respect of change. God will work with you and take you down the path He needs you to go down to do the righteous things He has for you.

So if you used to lust, you will start that process to lust no more. Instead you will see that sex as a gift and as a masterpiece that God has made, instead of the objects to fuel your lustful desires.

If you stole things, you will instead see God's provisions for whom those things belongs to. And God will surely bring provision to you to satisfy your needs and wants.

If you committed abortion, you will see that the baby is a gift from God instead of an earthly burdon or annoyance. Every child is a blessing, no matter what that child has or how frustrating they make you, or no matter how much they get in the way of your dreams. God loves children. And God sees every child, born, unborn or not even conceived, as a person and they are very important to Him.

If you've murdered out of some evil desire, you will begin to see that life is precious, every life is precious.

If you've dishonored your parents simply to get your way. You will realize that the actions your parents took was nothing more than the results of the love they have for you. You are to honor your mother and father. No matter what you think they've done to you. IF they have done something wrong to you, revenge is not ours but the Father's. Rest your heart, He will deal with them.

Everything that you used to enjoy that was an abonination to God will begin to 'taste bitter'. they will begin to not be as enjoyful as they used to be. Eventually you will even hate doing those things.

You will literally change to be a better person. Your relationships will become more rich with love, and it will show. God will soften your heart for you to be more willing to do things that He wants, so that your life would be more righteous and more enjoyable.

It is one thing to come home to the one your love and know that they will be there. It is entirely another thing when everything you do begins to be favorable in God's sight as blessings will come to you. No matter your situation, God can fix it, if you allow Him into your heart to really change you.

Hatred, grudges, the discontent in your heart... will all pass away with the old you and the new you will begin to inhabit and the life you have in front of you will be more enjoyful and rewarding than you can imagine.

Let God into your heart, begin to love like He loves. And see through His eyes if the things you done and the things before you.

God loves you, no matter what you've done. And He is always there for you, just waiting for you to come running to Him, as a loving child does to their loving father.

Why is it so important RIGHT NOW that we have to get it done?

Wouldn't it be more intelligent to WAIT until AFTER several OTHER things are taken care of?

Take care of national debt

Raise the money to tackle this endeavor to not get MORE in debt

National/Global Economy

Get America more jobs

plenty of other things to attend to BEFORE National Healthcare

Tweeting A Live Abortion... Seriously!??!?! "Father, please forgive me if I go out of line on this one... Amen" I prayed this while typing this out. Abortion is one of my 'peeves' if you canc all it that.

So I was listening to talk radio this morning, Pat Cambell on KFAQ to be exact, and PC informs his audience of a woman (I use this term loosely (PCs words, not mine)) who was recording her abortion endeavor via Twitter.

Several things went through my head:

"Are you kidding me?!?!"

"This is disgusting!"

"Poor baby."

...among others...

So I went to his site, clicked his blog and clicked on the tag for twitter: #livetweetingabortion.

Of course you get the plethora of pro-lifers and pro-choicers. This was expected.

The warriors fighting for life and the thieves taking it away.

I've found that this woman's name is: Angie Jackson. Evidently she has had a pretty messed up life according to her own posts. She doesn't really have any family to speak of, or that she will speak to, her 1st and evidently only son has issues since birth, the story goes on for her. She supposedly grew up in a Christian based home and has turned her back on God. Not sure what denomination, could have been a cult... who knows. (BTW I am not insinuating that it was a cult.) She said that being Christian is what made her insane and the only sanity she has found is in atheism, or anti-theism as she puts it.

Apparently she was informed by the medical community to not get pregnant again. But to have all three forms of birth control to fail... very unlikely. If she was so worried about it then it should be easy for her to NOT have sex. Otherwise it would simply be foolish on her part to continue. Sex is not a need, but a want. Even medically it is not required. So again for her to have sex would be negligence on her part.

And besides... the medical community has been proven wrong numberous times. I am confident that even if the pregnancy went south, that she would have been able and had time to save herself AND the baby, of course as long as the baby had enough time to be a pound or more.

The way I see it this abortion was a want... not a need.

Anyway continuing on...

My main points:

"What a heartless person do you have to be to want to do something like this (abortion)... legal or not. (Some medical reasons are questionable.) Then to post it for the world to see."

"How careless do you have to be to support something like this."

"Her comments alone prelude to the fact that she has done this several times before, what a disgusting person."

"To commit infanticide... that is what people like this are doing."

"How can someone take their hatred and angst and direct it toward their own unborn child."

"This baby is a person, regardless how small."

"You're no better than the Nazis."

That last one... yes, abortion simply doing because, this is how I see it. The Nazis had the same reasons, slightly altered of course.

This woman, no better than Hitler, no better then his soldiers... my reasoning:

Hitler wanted to 'cleanse' his race of a foreign people... this woman wants to 'cleanse' her body of this foreign baby. I say foreign because she won't even recognize it as her own.

Hitler wanted to not only remove these people but to destroy them... this woman had the same motive and action... the baby was destroyed.

Hitler performed some of the most horrific 'experiments'... although abortion is no longer an experiment... it looks like one. And obviously the pills still are, since it didn't do the job the 1st time.

To want to do something like sucking a baby out of a womb... to literally tear them apart like some sort of cooked meat... to poison a person to death for just being there.

It isn't their fault!

God tells us clearly that every child, no matter how small... is still a person. God knew us since before we were formed on our mother's womb. God feels the pain that each and every child that is aborted goes through. Every tear, every torn limb. Every punctured skull. Every brain sucked...

Abortion isn't a 'medical procedure' like this woman and the medical field tells us. It is murder of another person. It is legal infanticide of our own race.

To make things worse, I found this article from Jill Stanek: Live Tweeting Abortion part V: YAY! I'm bleeding.

So I read the article, not going to bother with parts 1-4. Part 5 is enough for me. Later, after typing most of this, I read Parts 1 and 2 to get more background about Angie Jackson.

Evidently this woman is trying to 'save her life'. Maybe she should have thought about that BEFORE taking RU-486 or whatever that drug is. Do your research before taking unknown drugs. It is stupid to take them and NOT know what they're going to do.

Furthermore, if you are unable to get pregnant, welfare will take care of surgical costs... take out what makes you a woman! Or get your tubes tied. or how about just abstaining from sex all together. Wow... what a though... denying yourself sex. She evidently has a lack of control to prevent things like this.

Why is there such anger from pro-lifers... simple... it is to get you to understand what you are doing to your yourself, your own children and to society. This woman has such hatred that she is willing to go through pain an suffering for weeks to prevent it. To risk herself to get rid of another. Abortion separates a society. It is kill your own children... what else could be more gross, disgusting, wrong, evil... need I go on?

Having a child is one of the most beautiful and health beneficial things that you can do as a woman. Science has found several times that multitudes of cancers and illnesses go away during pregnancy and then afterwards, if she breastfeeds, those same 'side effects' of pregnancy can continue... a healthier you and baby. Minus the obvious toll it takes on the mother's body... it is rather beneficial for both mother and child.

It is pretty obvious that there are other health issues that this woman has. And I'd bet that a good part of them she might have done to herself by not taking care of herself.

Please forgive me:
I try my best to promote a healthy conversation and mindset. I also noted several times that it is the actions of a person that you should get angry about, not the person themselves.

But I have one question... how many times does a person do the same thing over and over with no regrets, to make that apart of who they are?

Abortion is a very hot topic. Obviously it makes me very emotional as well as other things. Most abortions are not needed, they are wanted. Those are the ones that make me so angry that I can explode. I just want to tell that person so many things... mostly to get them to really understand that this isn't a rights issue... it is a life/health issue.

So for women to say something to the effect of "What about my rights?!"... what about your rights!?!? What about the rights that you are forcibly removing from that child?

The right that you enjoy every waking moment, not just the right to life.
The right of enjoying something.
The right experiencing happiness.
The right to experience passion.
The right of having their own family.
The right of interaction with other human beings.
The right of telling someone that they love them.
The right to breathe on their own.
The right to have a chance.

So if you support abortion as a way of birth control, a way to make life easier on yourself, to cop out of having a child... and you complain about your own rights being hindered... think about the rights that your are taking away from someone else as you sit in the abortion clinic.

Anger aside... please consider what you are doing and how it affects not just yourself. Don't think about the cost, the time, the effort of having a child... think about the more important issue... are you willing to remove the life of another just because you don't want to deal with it?

My main fault with all of this is that she didn't even give the child a try... she never gave them a chance.

I pray for you, for your family and for all of the never-born children.

If you ban guns, you do nothing more than increase the number of victims.

Criminals go outside the law... so they will continue to commit crimes with guns, even if they are banned... so the more people with guns that are law abiding citizens... and who are responsible... this will automatically deter some criminals from committing their unlawful acts, since they themselves know that a good possibility is that they will be harmed or will loose their life.

So the idea of banning guns to stop crime is an oxymoron... do you really think that criminals will think twice about a gun ban?

It is not that the gun is evil or bad... it is like saying that a hammer is evil or bad because you can kill someone with one blow to the temple. Or how about a stick... the temple on your head is a very soft place that can easily be punctured. So sticks are bad too?

It is the user of the tool, not the tool itself.

Bible Education Bill?

I've recently heard of a Bible Education Bill.

To summarize, the public school system would be learning about the Bible, and also any other religion along side Christianity. This includes Hunduism, Buddism, Islam, etc. Obviously this could do nothing but confuse the pupils of these classes.

The public school system originated from a Christian Bible based teaching method. So the Bible was the main book of teaching in early America. Pick up any textbook from 1836+ and you will find scripture.

As a matter of fact, multiple colleges were founded on Christian beliefs, i.e. Harvard, Princeton, etc. They were originally Christian Institutions.

So my question... what happened to make these colleges and universities today that once were the pinnacle of Christian teaching to become some of the most heated battlegrounds for Christian Theology? In which case in a lot of places it is only hanging by a thread.

Although I would love to see our public school system go back to its roots and use the Bible as a basic tool for teaching, we all know that the current system will do nothing short of demolish the Bible, its teachings and allow other theologies to corrupt and dilute its message. Further making it more difficult for young minds to believe.

A licensed psychologist with both clinical and forensic practice outreaches is warning that it appears children of homosexual couples are seven times more likely to develop "non-heterosexual preferences" than other children, but lawmakers establishing policy often don't know that because the researchers have concealed their discoveries.

However, Hansen said in the study, in order for an adult child to be classified as non-heterosexual, "the adult child had to currently identify as non-heterosexual and commit to a future identity as a non-heterosexual – a very unusual method for coding non-heterosexuality."

Eight percent of adult children reared by lesbians "had a homosexual relationship even though they weren't sexually attracted to same-sex partners," Hansen wrote.

Hansen, who works with marriage, parenting, male-female difference issues, told WND that there is little scientific research on the long-term impact of homosexual parenting on children, and no definitive conclusions can be drawn.

However, she said what information is available suggests children raised by homosexuals have different sexual orientation, gender identity and gender role behaviors from those children raised by heterosexual couples.

The concealment of information is no surprise, either.

Hansen suggested all scientists have biases – especially when such an "emotionally-charged" issue is at hand.

But if the authors of these studies want to be regarded as scientists, and not activists, "they must set aside their biases and straightforwardly present their findings," she wrote.

As one of the few forthright pro-homosexual advocates proclaimed, 'Of course our children are going to be different,'" Hansen said. "No one knows for sure by what complex mechanisms homosexual parents disproportionately rear homosexual children. But regardless of how, it appears they do. The public needs to be made aware of the findings of these studies so that when courts adjudicate and citizens vote on issues related to homosexuality, they're fully informed as to the possible consequences of those decisions on children."[/quote]

Hansen's review encompassed nine studies, virtually all of the documentation available on the subject for her selected class of children.

Personal Note:
There you have it folk, proof that homosexuality is a CHOICE.

The fact alone that adopted children would choose homosexuality based on their 'parents' decisions proves that it is choice, not fact that there are homosexualy born children.

All I realy have to say about this is... DUH!

If you cuss, and your children hear you on a regular basis... guess what... they'll cuss.

If you have open relations with another person of the same gender... guess what... chances are so will they.

The thing I find funny is taht the homosexual folks are trying to hide stuff like this.

In other words, they are LYING to the population about their own choices and agenda.

Did we expect anything less from a corrupt/greedy mindset?

My Heart Aches

My Heart Aches
It isn't what you think...

Hello everyone and God bless you and your family!

My heart aches, not because of heart burn, or of any pain, either emotional or physical.

My heart aches with the overwhelming joy and love that God has given me through His Spirit.

My desire to want to preach to the utter ends of the earth, to the lost, to those who can't forgive themselves.

I am so so grateful for everything that the Lord has blessed me and my family with, that I can hardly express it.

God love us so much, so so much. He has given everything, including Himself for us.

Just like a father dying to save their son/daughter... that is exactly what He did. God died for us. Now God lives for us.

He is so awesome. So loving, so powerful and so merciful. He has given more than any of us could possibly give to our own children.

This year, He has blessed my family's socks off. It gives me a new appreciation for Him.

Even though a majority of His blessing has come in monetary form... there is so much more that He has given us other then cash.

For so long, you know you pray, and you don't hear anything for years. Maybe you've prayed to be forgiven, maybe to get something for someone else.

For so long I've wanted to work on protecting my family, for getting the things we need to get other things done. one of which was work on my personal site to spread His Word.

God has blessed me at work, with new work, with opportunities to enrich my family, to be better stewards of the things He has given us.

With every new blessed, and even before we receive it, I give thanks to God. I thank Him for the things we will receive.For the things we have and have received.

Something that definitely made me so grateful... I got an email from Marsh... her mother is in Russia, and Marsha uses my website to reach her mother in Christ.

Although my website is little... IT IS REACHING THE LOST IN RUSSIA AND THE UK!

Every time I think of that I THANK THE LORD for His love. For His mercy on me and those who read my articles.

A Louisiana driver was stopped and detained for having a "Don't Tread on Me" bumper sticker on his vehicle and warned by a police officer about the "subversive" message it sent, according to the driver's relative.

The situation developed in the small town of Ball, La., where a receptionist at the police department told WND she knew nothing about the traffic stop, during which the "suspect" was investigated for "extremist" activities, the relative said.

It followed by only a few weeks the release of a Department of Homeland Security report, "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment", which prompted outrage from legislators and a campaign calling for the resignation of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The report, which cites individuals who sport certain bumper stickers on their vehicles as suspect, was delivered to tens of thousands of local law enforcement officers across the nation.

WND is withholding the driver's name and the relative's name at their request.

However, the situation was described on the American Vision blog.

According to the relative, it happened this way: Her brother-in-law was driving home from work through the town, which has a local reputation for enhancing its budget by ticketing speeders. He was pulled over by police officers who told him "he had a subversive survivalist bumper sticker on his car."

The company that sells the bumper sticker is The Patriot Depot, where Chief Operating Officer Jay Taylor told WND the woman had told his staff about the situation while ordering more bumper stickers.

WND reported earlier on the DHS report, which advised about the "extremism" that could be expected from returning veterans, those who support homeschooling and oppose abortion, post certain bumper stickers on their vehicles and other factors.

The DHS not only issued that report, but also an earlier memo defining dozens of groups, members of animal rights organizations, black separatists, tax protesters and others as "threats."

That item, the "Domestic Extremism Lexicon" reportedly was rescinded almost immediately, but Benjamin Sarlin of The Daily Beast recently obtained and published online a copy of the unclassified memo, dated March 26, 2009.

[quote]It defines the "tax resistance movement" – also referred to in the report as the tax protest movement or the tax freedom movement – as "groups or individuals who vehemently believe taxes violate their constitutional rights. Apparently, the DHS analyzes the "threat" level of Internet news websites like WorldNetDaily, for the lexicon defines "alternative media" as "a term used to describe various information sources that provide a forum for interpretations of events and issues that differ radically from those presented in mass media products and outlets."

I've looked over this "Domestic Extremist Lexicon".

Here are some definitions from this document (Don't worry this isn't 'classified' information.):

aboveground	A term used to describe extremist groups or individuals who operate overtly and portray themselves as law-abiding.

militia movement	A rightwing extremist movement composed of groups or individuals who adhere to an antigovernment ideology often incorporating various conspiracy theories. Members oppose most federal and state laws, regulations, and authority (particularly firearms laws and regulations) and often conduct paramilitary training designed to resist perceived government interference in their activities or to overthrow the U.S. Government through the use of violence.
rightwing extremism	A movement of rightwing groups or individuals who can be broadly divided into those who are primarily hate-oriented, and those who are mainly antigovernment and reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority. This term also may refer to rightwing extremist movements that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

'Aboveground'... kinda vague isn't it? This could literally be classified as ANYONE who appears to be following the law.

'Alternative media'... as if the mainstream media is perfect AND is unbiased... in otherwords if you see anything differently... you are now an extremist.

'Direct action'... So if you even as protest anything, you are now an extremist. So those Tea Parties that we all had on April 15th... we are all now extremists since we took direct action.

'Militia movement'... how much you want to bet that citizen that owns a gun will be automatically categorized as this type of extremist?

'Rightwing extremism'... in otherwords, if you believe in the CONSTITUTION, you are a right wing extremist.

So the whole thing comes down to it that if you have any ideas, actions or any involvement against what the government things is even 'some-what' extreme... you are not an enemy of the state.

With our Constitution we have rights. Rights that are further enforced by our laws.

It is becoming painfully clear that these rights and laws will soon go away and in favor of a socialist, comunistic nation and government. Whereas if you as even think outside of their boundries you are labelled and eveidently removed.

The Solution to our Government
What I believe will fix our government and what is to come.

Hey everyone,

As most of you probably are frustrated as well as I am about the lies, misinformation and the direction that this administration is leading our great nation. Yes, i've been mistaken in that I referred to the US as 'used to be a great nation'.
I've come to realization that this nation is still the best in the world. It is just who is running it doesn't have the right ideas/morals/values/substance to lead this nation in the right dorection, nor safely.

I've realized the solution to our problem with this government.

I've come to this by way of a friend who has pointed out the those whom have voted for this corrupt official. They weren't informed nor enlighted by the history of this nation. The reason why we became a nation was because of this exact reason, to get away from big government. Government that had too much power over its people. Which is what is happening now.

The solution would be an enitavitable revival of God's people. This revival, would in turn change the hearts of the citizens and voters. It would change the heart of those in office and who are seeking office.

In order to have a revival, the US has to be in need of a revival.

This means that things have to get worse. The desire for men to want a loving God has to be evident. The prayers and crys of His children have to be spoken, in both Spirit and on Earth.

And no, I am not talking about a man-made revival, but a revival that God begins and springs out of the crys of man. A revival to bring this nation back to God and His laws and values.

It is obvious that man's laws and values are corrupt and weak.

It can only take God to bring us back to Him.

So, what can we do?

We can prepare.

We can pray.

We can pray for the elected occials. For the President, Supreme Court Judges, The House, The Senate, Speaker of the House, for our governors, mayors, police, fire fighters, for those who love God and those who don't.

Pray for our nation and those who run it.

We can be involved in the government.

We can be examples to the fallen that God can use us to bring the lost to Him.

So pray and prepare yourself for hard times. Pray that God can use us to do His will. Pray that we will be prepared for what is to come.

And if a revival isn't in His plan, I pray that the Rapture is near.

According to an online Yahoo program, the Global Position System coordinates for the White House, probably one of the best-known publicly owned buildings in the world, are 38.898590 Latitude and -77.035971 Longitude. And since you know that, it's no big deal for the White House to know the coordinates for your front door, is it?

Some people think it is, and are upset over an army of some 140,000 workers hired in part with a $700 million taxpayer-funded contract to collect GPS readings for every front door in the nation.

The data collection, presented as preparation for the ""2010 Census, is pinpointing with computer accuracy the locations and has raised considerable concern from privacy advocates who have questioned why the information is needed. The privacy advocates also are more than a little worried over what could be done with that information.

Enhancing the concerns is the Obama administration's recent decision to put White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in an oversight role over the census, which will be used to determine a reapportionment of congressional seats and could be used to solidify a single political party's control over the nation, its budget, military and future.

Then he cited the cooperative effort that the U.S. Census Bureau has reached with ACORN, the organization of community activists with which Obama worked.

Online sources noted that Google Maps already probably has listed most homes in the nation.

A number of concerned citizens have contacted WND about the program, and repeatedly have cited warnings delivered by the GPS squad members that their failure to allow the readings would result in fines and possibly imprisonment under Title 13, which allows the census to be taken.

But repeatedly they've gotten no answers when asked what a GPS reading has to do with the number of people living at the home – which isn't supposed to be subject to questions until 2010 anyway.

One WND reader raised these questions to a local census office.

The census is not due until 2010, and the usurpation of the census by the White House is unconstitutional. … This citizen will not answer census questions until the year they are due, and demands that my GPS coordinates be removed from all government records."[/quote]

The census response?

[quote]"Address canvassing should conclude by mid-July. The operation will use new hand-held computers equipped with GPS to increase geographic accuracy. The ability to capture GPS coordinates for most of the nation's housing units will greatly reduce the number of geographic coding errors caused by using paper maps in previous counts. … During the address canvassing operation, census workers may ask to verify a housing structure's address and whether there are additional living quarters on the property. All census workers carry official government badges marked with just their name. You also may ask them for a picture ID from another source to confirm their identity. In addition, some census workers might carry a 'U. S. Census Workers' bag."[/quote]

Another WND reader, from Washington state, reported he is having his attorney look into the legality of the GPS data collection and hopes to have enough support for a legal challenge.

The reader, whose name was withheld because of his concerns over repercussions, said a government home data collector ignored his no trespassing sign, and he was threatened by the collector for wanting to refuse to provide "census" information.

He said GPS mapping nowhere is authorized for census workers.

Census spokesman Stephen Buckner told WND the activity is, in fact, proper, and even necessary. There are homes being built and torn down constantly, and the census needs such information. Local building records and other government databases such as tax records would not suffice, he said.

[quote]"There are 140,000 workers walking every street of America," he told WND, in order to document 145 million addresses with GPS coordinates."[/quote]

He assured WND that all such personal information is confidential, because employees of contractors doing the work are subject to a $250,000 fine or imprisonment for five years for revealing personal information. He also confirmed that the last case that was prosecuted under the law was nearly 50 years ago.

Personal Note:

Talk about being to close for comfort...

The thing is that the government already had this capability, they are just making it known to the populus.

Now since this administration is working to create their own national force, funded and equiped like our current military and only answers to the President, they will be able to literally gather anyone they want to be in this "special unit" that doesn't even have to consist of American citizens.

THAT I beleive is a HUGE problem. This allows other countries to possibly gain critical knowledge of the US and its people.

This can back-fire in a BIG way with very little for anyone to do anything about it.

Not to mention that certain weaponry doesn't rely on the street address to find a target... That's something to think about...

About this National Special unit that only operates from the mouth of the President... in conjunction with the GPS coordinates of every citizen in the US... These troops of this new KGB... er... National Special Unit, how many do you think would be US citizens? If their job is to work against the US, what makes you think that troop that questions their orders would be replaced with someone who isn't a US citizen... and how hard would it be for them to funnel information from the US governement to their OWN government?

Aside from the nationality of the troops being used in this Unit... what if they are to work with OTHER groups outside the US? What type of implications would that entail? How easy it would be to slip some new info to another America hating group?

As it is becoming very obvious... this government doesn't care about the Constitution. They'd rather do away with it since it would allow them to do what they want, when they want.

This is VERY unconstitutional as it pertains to illegal search and seisure. See Amendment IV.

Please read as much as you can and stay informed. the only way to conbat this is with knowledge and to continue to fight against this WITHOUT sedition or seccsion. Both of which will begin to undermine the foundation of this great nation, the Constitution.

TAMPA, Florida — Eighteen and pregnant, Sycloria Williams went to an abortion clinic outside Miami and paid $1,200 for Dr. Pierre Jean-Jacque Renelique to terminate her 23-week pregnancy.

Three days later, she sat in a reclining chair, medicated to dilate her cervix and otherwise get her ready for the procedure.

Only Renelique didn't arrive in time. According to Williams and the Florida Department of Health, she went into labor and delivered a live baby girl.

What Williams and the Health Department say happened next has shocked people on both sides of the abortion debate: One of the clinic's owners, who has no medical license, cut the infant's umbilical cord. Williams says the woman placed the baby in a plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

Police recovered the decomposing remains in a cardboard box a week later after getting anonymous tips.

[quote]"I don't care what your politics are, what your morals are, this should not be happening in our community," said Tom Pennekamp, a Miami attorney representing Williams in her lawsuit against Renelique and the clinic owners.[/quote]
The state Board of Medicine is to hear Renelique's case in Tampa on Friday and determine whether to strip his license. The state attorney's homicide division is investigating, though no charges have been filed. Terry Chavez, a spokeswoman with the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, said this week that prosecutors were nearing a decision.

Renelique's attorney, Joseph Harrison, called the allegations at best "misguided and incomplete" in an e-mail to The Associated Press. He didn't provide details.

The case has riled the anti-abortion community, which contends the clinic's actions constitute murder.

Even those who support abortion rights are concerned about the allegations.

"I know that there are clinics out there like this. And I hope that we can keep (women) from going to these types of clinics."[/quote]
According to state records, Renelique received his medical training at the State University of Haiti. In 1991, he completed a four-year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Interfaith Medical Center in New York.

New York records show that Renelique has made at least five medical malpractice payments in the past decade, the circumstances of which were not detailed in the filings.

Several attempts to reach Renelique were unsuccessful. Some of his office numbers were disconnected, no home number could be found and he did not return messages left with his attorney.

Williams struggled with the decision to have an abortion, Pennekamp said. She declined an interview request made through him.

She concluded she didn't have the resources or maturity to raise a child, he said, and went to the Miramar Women's Center on July 17, 2006. Sonograms indicated she was 23 weeks pregnant, according to the Department of Health. She met Renelique at a second clinic two days later.

Renelique gave Williams laminaria, a drug that dilates the cervix, and prescribed three other medications, according to the administrative complaint filed by the Health Department. She was told to go to yet another clinic, A Gyn Diagnostic Center in Hialeah, where the procedure would be performed the next day, on July 20, 2006.

Williams arrived in the morning and was given more medication.

The Department of Health account continues as follows: Just before noon she began to feel ill. The clinic contacted Renelique. Two hours later, he still hadn't shown up. Williams went into labor and delivered the baby.

The baby's umbilical cord was not clamped, allowing her to bleed out. Gonzalez scooped the baby, placenta and afterbirth into a red plastic biohazard bag and threw it out.

No working telephone number could be found for Gonzalez, and an attorney who has represented the clinic in the past did not return a message.

At 23 weeks, an otherwise healthy fetus would have a slim but legitimate chance of survival. Quadruplets born at 23 weeks last year at The Nebraska Medical Center survived.

An autopsy determined Williams' baby — she named her Shanice — had filled her lungs with air, meaning she had been born alive, according to the Department of Health. The cause of death was listed as extreme prematurity.

The Department of Health believes Renelique committed malpractice by failing to ensure that licensed personnel would be present when Williams was there, among other missteps.

The department wants the Board of Medicine, a separate agency, to permanently revoke Renelique's license, among other penalties. His license is currently restricted, permitting him to only perform abortions when another licensed physician is present and can review his medical records.

Should prosecutors file murder charges, they'd have to prove the baby was born alive, said Robert Batey, a professor of criminal law at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport. The defense might contend that the child would have died anyway, but most courts would not allow that argument, he said.

As I read this article, not only did it make me sick to think that any pro-abortion person would probably do the same thing if they were on the recieving end of that birthed baby, but what makes me more sick is that organizations like Planned Parenthood are allowed to continue after things like these are found out. Several things have been found by rogue organizations that prove malpractice and illegal activities by Planned Parenthood clinics. yet they continue to slide by and operate.

Once more it isn't just a clinic or here or there, it almost seems like the organization as a whole isn't even doing anything about it. Instead they'd rather go ahead and let those clinics close, if they get that far, and do nothing else but continue operation.

How sick has America become where people won't rise up and stop this silent Holocaust.

This ruthless, desensitised and hatefull view that we are gaining on human life is so discusting... it makes me want to move away from this place because I don't like where it is going... sadly, this isn't just isolated in America either. The "War on Innocence" is going from country to country, and it seems that the voice that we Christians are trying to voice out-loud is being silenced day after day.

This really comes to no suprise to me or should it to other believers. As the Bible predicted, we will have more and more trials and tribulations that we will have to go through before His 2nd Coming.

But to throw away a baby, to perform a partial birth abortion, to tear the limbs from that beautiful being that God has made... it almost makes me wish that those that approve of this gross practice.. were the ones being aborted... but things like revenge, wrath and justice are not mine to hold on to and to act upon.

Stuff like this makes me so mad, so discusted, so outraged... I just want to scream and run over to those so-called doctors and tear them apart, but the truth is that what they do to the born or unborn babies... isn't something I want done to them or even my worst enemy. it is just as inhumane as you can get.

My job, as well as any Christian, is to speak our voice into this dark place. Our job is to pray about these matters. It is our job to do what we can to make these things illegal, however this will not stand for very long even if we ammend the Constituion, or outlaw it.

Revenge, judgement and wrath are God's and God's alone.

So we should pray that God's judgement would fall on them, that maybe, just maybe, they will repent and come to Christ and know what they did was wrong, selfish and grossly inhumane.

We should ingulf ourselves in the government to do what we possibly can to stop this practice.

Let me ask you something... Did you vote for Barak Hussein Obama? The middle name alone should have brought up some red flag...

When you voted for Obama, and not listened to God, you voted against God's Word. You voted against Christ and everything He stands for. More importantly, you voted against everything that He sacrificed for. If you're a christian and you did vote for BHO, you deserve the same judgments as those who are lost in this world. What is this act?

This act would remove ANY bans on abortion. This includes any ban on taxpayers paying for Abortions... YOU'RE paying for abortions whether you agree with it or not... thanks for forcing our hand to pay for this ungodly and discusting practice.

This act would remove ANY bans on ANY type of abortions. This includes the most inhumane types as well... like partial birth abortion up to 9 MONTHS. 9 MONTH abortions... DO YOU HEAR WHAT I AM SAYING? Do you know what a partial birth abortion is?

Does anyone else find this part of this bill a bit ironic seems how they are discreetly taking away the right of the person growing in that belly that they will sonn be tearing apart? Yet they tell all of us that it is the right of the mother? It is COMPLETELY different from a limb or appendage. YOU don't feel it when the baby is being ripped apart... but you do feel it if it was your own arm. Why is another life less important to you?

What is fetal viability anyway?

Viability is defined as the ability of fetuses to survive in the extrauterine environment. So what does the baby have to do to be able to survive outside the womb? The only thing that comes to mind would be for the baby to have functional lungs. If it needs a respirator, so be it... but if it has the organs and will work correctly... then it should be considered 'viable'. Since it couldn't walk to go to where the food or protection is... breathing is the only function that it could do to 'survive' outside the womb.

So, in what stage is the baby able to breathe on its own outside the womb?

By the time the baby is about 24-weeks old, it is breathing the amniotic fluids on its own. What makes you think it can't breathe air also or at least with a respirator?

24 weeks... that is only 6 months old!

In a lot of cases the above, even though it was enforced by the state, was ignored and many people lost their lives because of this ignorance of the state in enforcing this.

Sure the numbers might be less than before... but even with Roe v. Wade... it still happens. Roe vs. Wade did nothing but lessen the amount of mothers that were harmed or died, yet cause nothing but trouble for this nation by killing the unborn.

The sad thing is that now most have seen that the life of the mother is more important than the life of the baby. No one life is more important than another... period. it doesn't matter what status that person has, or name or title. Life is life, no one has more life than another.

So you think that 1,200,000 is a lot? Think that is a tragedy? Consider the 45,000,000 aborted within 32 years (1973-2005)? That is 1,406,250 babies per year... over 200,000 more than women, and the number is increasing... more about this later...

If you want to avoid these things... don't get pregnant. If you still get pregnant... give the child up for adoption. Don't kill another person simply because, you don't want your parents to find out or because you're too young (In which case you are also too young for sex anyway.) or just because you don't want a child. At least give the child a chance to avoid a horrible death.

If they simply just had the child and gave it up for adoption, they wouldn't have to risk the possibility of being hurt or dying from a botched abortion, or have the rest of their lives having to live with the fact that they killed someone.

As for those 1.2 million women being 'forced' to have abortions... most I am sure were nothing but selfish acts so as to not have to take care of a child. As most abortions are.

The above was an act to ban partial birth abortion.

Think of this... the partial birth abortion procedure is more inhumane than what Hitler and the Nazi's did to the Jews and others that opposed them.

Just looking at the numbers alone should be enough to make you want to stop this evil thing that Planned Parenthood, Obama and liberals are trying to shove down everyone's throat:

After all, they've killed more people than Hitler did per year... something to think about...

Also, another fact. Total lives lost in World War 2, range from 50 million (Almost the current number of abortions.) to over 70 million. We may never know the exact number of lives lost in that war. But abortion is certainly more preventable than being caught up in a war of multiple nations. But this 2nd Holocaust is being run by the same hatred and evil that Hitler was back in the early 1940's. As a matter of fact... a lot of this same idea, eugenics, came from Hitler's ideas. That wil be another article later once I've finished it...

In a comment on that same page a person mentioned the Holocaust Death Camps... I think that it is equally right to say that the Holocaust Death Camps and Abortion Clinics are one and the same... the difference is that one is willing to go into a clinic were as the other the person was forced. I guess either way, the victim, was forced. So really... there is NO difference between a Death Camp and an Abortion Clinic. Both victims are forced to die.

If you are educated enough (uh, go to Wal-Mart), then you know how to get condoms... and it isn't like they are expensive or hard to get... no age limit to buy them, that I am aware of.

The Patriot Act, designed to help fight terrorism, may be being misused.

The Patriot Act was enacted following the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. But it has given airlines some latitude in dealing with what they may consider unruly behavior. A case in point is Tamara Jo Freeman, who in 2007 was flying on Frontier Airlines to Denver when she moderately spanked her unruly children, then responded with some profanities when confronted by a flight attendant.

The Los Angeles Times reported this week that Freeman was arrested and spent three months in jail before entering a guilty plea. Mat Staver with Liberty Counsel reacts to the story.

[quote]"It makes no sense at all to convict some mother, who is trying to discipline her children, of violating a terrorism law -- a law that's defined as trying to stop terrorists, defined as trying to stop somebody from overthrowing or hijacking the plane," says the attorney.[/quote]

Staver says that strangely enough, Freeman's case is not an isolated one. According to the LA Times, at least 200 airline passengers have been convicted under the amended Patriot Act -- many accused of simply raising their voice, using foul language, or being drunk.

The Liberty Counsel founder says enforcement in these cases is so absurd that the law obviously needs to be changed.

According to the Times, Freeman's conviction cost her custody of her children, who were placed in foster care during her incarceration. She is now trying to turn back legal proceedings in which the foster parents are seeking to adopt the children.

Personal Note:
Terrorists eh? So my father is a terrorist because he uses foul language?

I though the overall majority of Americans see foul language as common language. ()At least that is what I see not only in the media, but also in everyday interactions with others and even in the workplace.) Although I don't use it nor do I like hearing it, it is still ones choice how they want to express themselves... however I don't see any reason to express yourself in foul language around children... grow up people! Protect the children... anyway that is another matter...

This also shows that as people, or a person, we no longer really have freedom, or have we really had freedom or just havewe only had the illusion of freedom?

If a mother can't even discipline her child... how can we expect our children to even behave? And what does society tell us... if you spank your child... you'll loose them? You'll go to jail? You'll be fined, or all of the above.

This proves that parents need to have rights to their children, that their roles as parents need to be inforced. Who are we going to allow to raise our children? the government... please. The Government can't even balance/keep a healthy budget, let alone raise some kids. Maybe the government needs financial coulseling... as all of the experts say to have acounselor to get back on track from debt... Maybe CCCS can help them with their debt and get them on a Debt Management Plan (DMP). I guess I am rambling again...

This mother shouldn't have been arrested, jailed and loose her children. She was trying to protect them and teach them what NOT to do. Now the government tell the kids... don't try to teach your kids a lesson because you could go to jail.

On top of that, by not promoting positive interaction between the mother and child, they'd rather separate them. What kind of people are running this show anyway? Is it liberals who think that being friends with you kids is better than being a parent?

let me tell you something... I was spanked as a child. Guess what... because of that I learned early on to do the following:

Respect my elders (anyone older than me)

Not to run away from my home

Not to ditch school

Not to steal

Not to make fun of others due to whatever I find funny

Not to curse and cuss (Especially in front of family, which I did once and whoa... never happened again)

Learned respect for others as well as things that aren't mine

Obey the law, both my parents and the governemnt's

As well as many others items... There are plenty BTW

Now a person who follows these things, they are considered a good citizen. Someone who contributes to society, not try totear it down just to satisfy my wants and desires... can we say 'hello' to liberals!?!?!...

Now why am i going on and on about government and liberals and such... because things are happening like this, this nonsense stuff that are just stupid in nature and also the results of something normal (Like disciplining your children.), and instead of promoting a more positive interaction... we'd rather try to remove them from society and ruin their family's lives and think that they are better apart than together. Now what idiotic thing to think.

It is just like our jailing system. instead of trying to rehabilitate the criminals to get rid of their desire to harm others, we instead throw all of them together, expect things to workd out, and then let them go only after 3 years of their life sentence. Not to mention that the guy that was put in jail was the one who stole something to feed his family,or was on the corner selling drugs because he couldn't find work. HELLO, give the guy a job, and teach him why it is wrong and how to find alternative.

Do you honestly think that people are dealing drugs because they love drugs? NO, they are in it to make money. Given somemight do it for the drugs due to an addiction, at least they get help while in jail... someimtes they don't even go to jail.

We needs to start teaching our kids right and wrong... but separate them and give them to other people to 'try' to do a better 'job'. Spanking is an acceptable form of punishment. Now there is a fine line between disciplining with spanking and abuse... clearly if there are bruises, there is a problem. But if my kids are not paying attension and nothing I do is helping them matter... sometimes it will have to resort to something a littl physical. I would much rather then feel my hand on their rear than to see them put their hand in fire to be burned off... or to have an older CRT fall on their heads, or even to make so much noise that it hurts others ears as well as my own.

Discipline in a natural things for parents... it has to be.

If you are a parent that wants to be 'friends' with your kids and not to actually teach them or guide them through life... YOU are the ones that needs you kids removed. By not being a parent you are doing more harm than good, not only to your kids, but to society as a whole.

This also goes for the dead beats out there... both mothers and fathers. If you have a child, it is YOUR responsibility to take care of them, teach them, guide them and discipline them to be good citizens.

Of course I believe that God and Christ have to be in all of this, but some aren't Christians.

By you leaving your kids and other partner or spouse... you are taking the easy/lazy way out. What use are you if you can't even to commit to your own flesh and blood? How sad a person you are.

Now if you can't take care of the child, even together... then do the responsible thing and find a way to make sure they are taken care of. Although I don't like just leaving your kid up for adoption... other than leaving them with a family member that's more stable, what other option do you have? Abortion definatly shouldn't even be an option unless someone's life it at fatal risk. Abortion is another topic I am passionate about... incase you haven't read any of my other articles on the site...

Anyway, let's be good people and raise our kids and government or someone else shouldn't tell you how to do it unless it is abusive. Given spanking can lead to abusive situations... it is NOT abuse if you are just leaving red marks on their behind... however if bruises are evident... then that needs to be corrected... not removed altogether.

Personal Note:
I admit, I do play some violent games. I play the ones where you are the good guy and you fight the bad ones. You know the classical good vs evil. I have some that mimic a World War to a futuristic war that would save humanity.

I stay away from games with cursing, sexual or substance abusive games. If i knew about them before hand.

Now every once in a while I buy a game with that stuff in it, then I uninstall it and wonder if I want to sell it or throw it away. Most times I throw them away.

I also knew that there were sex related things in some kids games today... but I didn't know it was to this extent!

Thank God my kids aren't old enough to play these things or to be majorly influenced by them.

For that matter I am also glad that we don't have a gaming system in the house... then looking at the games section would make it much harder to stay away from these games.

Worshippers at a Bible-teaching church in Lansing, Mich., were stunned Sunday when members of a pro-homosexual, pro-anarchy organization named Bash Back interrupted their service to fling propaganda and condoms around the sanctuary, drape a profane banner from the balcony and feature two lesbians making out at the pulpit.

According to a blog posting by Nick De Leeuw on Right Michigan, the Bash Back organization orchestrated a protest in front of Mount Hope Church to draw the church's security staff away from the sanctuary.

Then Bash Backers who had dressed up and mixed in with church worshippers took action.

According to De Leeuw, "Prayer had just finished when men and women stood up in pockets across the congregation, on the main floor and in the balcony.

[quote]"'Jesus was gay,' they shouted among other profanities and blasphemies as they rushed the stage. Some forced their way through rows of women and kids to try to hang a profane banner from the balcony while others began tossing fliers into the air. Two women made their way to the pulpit and began to kiss," he wrote.[/quote]

He cited the Bash Back organization's own announcement of other items members brought into the church, including "a megaphone, noise makers, condoms, glitter by the bucket load, confetti, pink fabric. ..."

According to the alternative Lansing City Pulse – which reported it was notified of the protest ahead of time and sent a reporter along instead of warning the church – the protesters also screamed at parishioners and pulled the church facility's fire alarm. Printed material protesters distributed said, "We specialize in confronting homophobia, transphobia and every and all other forms of oppression."

The report said Bash Back issued a statement today confirming it targeted Mount Hope, which has about 5,000 church participants, because it participates in "the repression of queers."

On the newspaper's forum page, a contributor commented, "Homosexuals and anarchists. A perfect combination of human beings with no hope, no morals, no future."

Many demonstrators fled and the rest were quiet after sheriff's officers were summoned.

The church then offered help for people "caught up in unwanted sexual sin, drug abuse, and many other areas."

De Leeuw reported "the 'open minded' and 'tolerant' liberals ran down the aisles and across the pews, hoping against hope to catch a 'right winger' on tape daring to push back (none did).

"This is what we're up against," De Leeuw wrote. "Amidst worshiping congregants and following unifying prayers that our president-elect be granted wisdom as he prepares to lead our nation through difficult global, social and economic challenges, the Michigan left declared open war on peaceful churchgoers.

[quote]"Mount Hope, for the record, is an evangelical, Bible believing church whose members provide free 24-hour counseling, prayer lines, catastrophic care for families dealing with medical emergencies, support groups for men, women and children dealing with a wide variety of life's troubles, crisis intervention, marriage ministries, regular, organized volunteer work in and around the city, missions in dozens of countries across the globe, a construction ministry that has built over 100 churches, schools, orphanages and other projects all over the world and an in-depth prison ministry that reaches out, touches and helps the men and women the rest of society fears the most. His blog attracted dozens of comments, including one that said it was just as well the protesters hadn't picked his church.

In a statement posted on the Internet, Bash Back confirmed its "operatives" were in the service, "stood up, declared themselves fags, and began screaming loudly. … Another group threw over a thousand fliers to the entire … congregation. The fire alarm was pulled. Queers began making out in front of the pastor. And within a matter of minutes, everyone had evaded the guards and made their escapes."

The report comes just a day after video documentation of pro-homosexual protesters in California challenging a 69-year-old woman to a fight because she was affirming the biblical perspective of homosexuality.

California voters by nearly 53 percent to 47 percent last week adopted a state constitutional amendment limiting marriage to one man and one woman.

Glenn said AFA-Michigan will join the Catholic League in urging Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox to investigate the organized violation of the church's private property rights and the group's threat of future disruptions of worship services.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue today issued a statement condemning the group's actions and accusing the news media of failing to report it with the same intensity they routinely do complaints by homosexual activist groups.

Personal Note:
Personally, I can't say I would have been as graceful during all that commotion as to sit there and allow it to continue with children in the congregation.

Although if I had my family with me... I would have been protecting their ears and had a long discussion with them afterwards to ignore those radicals and explain why they are as insane as they look and sound.

Rioting and radical assemblies of this nature never did anything except hurt others. Strikes and changes in governemnt, and prayer, have changed the way things are and how they are run.

Given our governemnt and society is hardly a perfect one, change was best made from within not forcing your way like skits like this effort by Bash Back.

How disrespectful and dangerous this group, Bash Back, obviously is. That they care of nothing but themselves that they would go as far as hurt otherwise peacful people and children simply to get their voice heard. If they want to be heard so bad, email and send letters to those that matter in government.

Indoctrinating, cursing and other radical tactics toward children, I don't take likely. If you want your voice heard... make sure it is infront of adults and other who can do anything about it.

Theer is NO reason to include children in any effort to get your voice to be heard. Unless of course that voice is to help the children and not harm them.

This congregation/church, did the right thing. In paying for their offensive members of this service, they've shown toeverything that they have a real Christ-like attitude. To pray for the salvation of those whom have offended them...to turn the other check.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new pro-life group that features a late-term abortion survivor is running a national television advertisement against presidential candidate Barack Obama. The ad takes Obama to task for his votes against a bill to care for survivors of such abortions when he was in the Illinois legislature.

The new group, BornAliveTruth.org is a joint effort between Gianna Jessen, who survived a saline abortion decades ago, and pro-life blogger Jill Stanek.

Stanek is the former Chicago-area nurse who exposed the practice of live-birth abortions, where doctors purposefully cause the premature birth of an unborn child for the sole purpose of letting her die.

Her exposure of the practice led to the Illinois bills Obama opposed and a national law President Bush signed requiring medical centers and personnel to provide such babies with adequate medical care after birth.

Obama has said he voted against the Born Alive bill in Illinois because it would have undermined Roe v. Wade and the so-called right to abortion, but documents from the Illinois legislature show he voted for an amendment to rectify that issue and still voted against the bill.

The ads are run by the new group, a 527 organization known as BornAliveTruth.org and the ads are financed by Raymond Ruddy, a Mississippi pro-life activist who was a supporter of Mitt Romney during the Republican primaries.

The group says its mission "is to educate the public on the IL Born Alive Infants Protection Act and Senator Obama's record opposing this act.

The original ad features Jessen, a young woman who survived a failed saline abortion in the late 1970s, as she chides Obama for voting repeatedly against bills in the Illinois legislature to stop infanticide.

The ad recalls Obama's votes against the Born Alive Infants Protection Act and pointed out how even abortion advocates like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry voted for a similar bill on the federal level.

Obama responded with his own ad that nonpartisan analysis from two fact checking groups called inaccurate.

The new Jessen ad addresses Obama’s attacks and says that she has, in fact, dealt with worse: she survived an abortion.

The first ad, sponsored by BornAliveTruth.org will also air on Colorado radio stations and the total ad buy for both radio and TV will be close to $600,000.

Meanwhile, Focus on the Family has dedicated $500,000 to airing the original ad in Colorado, one of the top battleground states.

Obama’s response spot to the original Gianna ad was filled with false and misleading distortions about Gianna Jessen and Obama’s own voting record against born alive infant protections, says Jill Stanek, the nurse who exposed the practice of letting babies who were born alive after abortions die.

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new video of a Planned Parenthood staff member in New Jersey has surfaced showing abortion centers leave babies to die who survive failed abortions. The video shows the kind of infanticide that Barack Obama opposed stopping in Illinois continues to occur.

The pro-life group Students for Life of America released the videotape Thursday of a nurse at a federally-funded Title X Planned Parenthood center describing how an abortion would be performed on a 22 week unborn child.

In the footage, the Planned Parenthood nurse describes to the pregnant woman that the abortion would entail delivering her son alive.

After the mother asks if the baby can be born alive, the nurse admits that "it does happen, but it wouldn't be able to survive on its own so eventually the baby does die."

SFLA director Kristan Hawkins says the footage is "shocking" because it confirms that the practice of allowing infants to die after they survive a failed abortion or a purposeful premature birth continues to happen.

Hawkins also told LifeNews.com that it confirms there was no reason for presidential candidate Barack Obama to vote four times in the Illinois legislature against a bill to make sure such infants receive appropriate medical care if they survive the late-term abortion procedure.

"I was absolutely stunned when the Planned Parenthood nurse revealed that allowing a baby to die after being born alive is a common practice for abortionists," Hawkins said.

Persional Note:
You know, I will not vote for anyone who would continue to allow partial birth abortions, or any abortion for that matter except where it would be life threatening. Even in that situation it would still be hard to convince me that an abortion is the ONLY way to save a life.

Many of my friends process their identity through their blackness. I process my identity through Christ. Being a Christian (a Christ follower) means He leads I follow. I can't dictate the terms He does because He is the leader.

I can't vote black because I am black; I have to vote Christian because that's who I am. Christian first, black second. Neither should anyone from the other ethnic groups vote because of ethnicity. 200 years from now I won't be asked if I was black or white. I will be asked if I knew Jesus and accepted Him as Lord and Savior.

In an election there are many issues to consider but when a society gets abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem-cell research, human cloning to name a few, wrong economic concerns will soon not matter.

We need to follow Martin Luther King's words, don't judge someone by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I don't know Obama so all I can go off is his voting record. His voting record earned him the title of the most liberal senator in the US Senate in 2007.

To beat Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton as the most liberal senator, takes some doing. Obama accomplished this feat in 2 short years. I wonder what would happen to America if he had four years to work with.

There is a reason Planned Parenthood gives him a 100 % rating. There is a reason the homosexual community supports him. There is a reason Ahmadinejad, Chavez, Castro, Hamas etc. love him. There is a reason he said he would nominate liberal judges to the Supreme Court. There is a reason he voted against the infanticide bill. There is a reason he voted No on the constitutional ban of same-sex marriage. There is a reason he voted No on banning partial birth abortion. There is a reason he voted No on confirming Justices Roberts and Alito. These two judges are conservatives and they have since overturned partial birth abortion. The same practice Obama wanted to continue.

Let's take a look at the practice he wanted to continue.

The 5 Step Partial Birth Abortion procedures:
A. Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps. (Remember this is a live baby)
B. The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
C. The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.
D. The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole.
E. The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

God help him. There is a reason Obama opposed the parental notification law.

Think about this: You can't give a kid an aspirin without parental notification but that same kid can have an abortion without parental notification. This is insane.

There is a reason he went to Jeremiah Wright's church for 20 years.

Obama tells us he has good judgment but he sat under Jeremiah Wright teaching for 20 years. Now he is condemning Wright's sermons. I wonder why now?

Obama said Jeremiah Wright led him to the Lord and discipled him. A disciple is one in training. Jesus told us in Matthew 28:19 - 20 'Go and make disciples of all nations.' This means reproduce yourself. Teach people to think like you, walk like you; talk like you believe what you believe etc. The question I have is what did Jeremiah Wright teach him?

Would you support a White President who went to a church which has tenets that said they have a ...

1. Commitment to the White Community
2. Commitment to the White Family
3. Adherence to the White Work Ethic
4. Pledge to make the fruits of all developing and acquired skills available to the White Community.
5. Pledge to Allocate Regularly, a Portion of Personal Resources for Strengthening and Supporting White Institutions
6. Pledge allegiance to all White leadership who espouse and embrace the White Value System
7. Personal commitment to embracement of the White Value System.

Would you support a President who went to a church like that?

Just change the word from white to black and you have the tenets of Obama's former church. If President Bush was a member of a church like this, he would be called a racist. Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton would have been marching outside.

This kind of church is a racist church. Obama did not wake up after 20 years and just discovered he went to a racist church. The church can't be about race. Jesus did not come for any particular race. He came for the whole world.

A church can't have a value system based on race. The churches value system has to be based on biblical mandate. It does not matter if it is a white church or a black church it's still wrong. Anyone from either race that attends a church like this would never get my vote.

Obama's former Pastor Jeremiah Wright is a disciple of liberal theologian James Cone, author of the 1970 book A Black Theology of Liberation. Cone once wrote: 'Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him.

Cone is the man Obama's mentor looks up to. Does Obama believe this?

So what does all this mean for the nation?

In the past when the Lord brought someone with the beliefs of Obama to lead a nation it meant one thing - judgment.

Read 1 Samuel 8 when Israel asked for a king. First God says in 1 Samuel 1:9 'Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will do.'

Then God says

1 Samuel 1:18 ' When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the LORD will not answer you in that day.' 19 But the people refused to listen to Samuel. 'No!' they said. 'We want a king over us. 20 Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.' 21 When Samuel heard all that the people said, he repeated it before the LORD. 22 The LORD answered, 'Listen to them and give them a king.'

Here is what we know for sure.

God is not schizophrenic

He would not tell one person to vote for Obama and one to vote for McCain. As the scripture says, a city divided against itself cannot stand, so obviously many people are not hearing from God.

Maybe I am the one not hearing but I know God does not change and Obama contradicts many things I read in scripture so I doubt it.

For all my friends who are voting for Obama can you really look God in the face and say; Father based on your word, I am voting for Obama even though I know he will continue the genocidal practice of partial birth abortion. He might have to nominate three or four Supreme Court justices, and I am sure he will be nominating liberal judges who will be making laws that are against you. I also know he will continue to push for homosexual rights, even though you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this. I know I can look the other way because of the economy.

I could not see Jesus agreeing with many of Obama's positions. Finally I have two questions for all my liberal friends.

Since we know someone's value system has to be placed on the nation,

1. Whose value system should be placed on the nation.
2. Who should determine that this is the right value system for the nation?

I have seeked permission to post and write about this article from Huntley Brown Ministries however I didn't recieve a response. I pray that if they read this that my intention was only to promote the Christian behavior that Huntley Brown clearly has been promoting/doing in his life as well all Christians should be doing.

Huntley Brown, a man of true Chistian character.

These words, although not intended to be spread around the world, show that he does truely love and follow Christ.

Regardless if Obama is elected or not, he still prays for our would-be president. Which is soemthing we all should be doing, especially as Christians. We should be ingulfed in our local government, and we should be praying for whomever is in office. After all we put/allowed them there.

The reasons above are why I also will not be voting for Obama, among others. I don't believe that he is worthy, nor equipped to become president. It isn't up to the government to elect Obama or McCain, it is up to us to decide who will be president.

Who will you vote for?

Just as Huntley wrote above... God doesn't do the following:

1) He doesn't lie.
2) He doesn't contradict Himself.
3) He wont tell one person to vote for Obama, and another to vote for McCain.
4) Because He doesn't lie, go against His own Word and He also doesn't tell one person to vote and another to vote for someone else; He can only tell you one of two things pertaining to this election:

Either vote for McCain, or don't vote at all. And I seriously doubt that He has told anyone NOT to vote.

Given McCain may rub you the wrong way, he may have said something you disagree with or you don't agree with his "Maverick" ideals... the choice here is will you go with God's Word and do as He tells you, or will you ignore His Word and do what YOU think is right for our nation, or the economy for that matter?

Which candidate clearly chooses the side of God's Word more clearly than the other? Of course, hands down, McCain.

How can I say that when McCain himself has done what people would consider non-Christian things or things that go against God's Word... we all are sinners and we can't help but to fail at times. No one on earth is perfect, save Christ of course. This doesn't mean that we should vote for someone who is clearly against God and His Word.

So your choice is clear, if you love God and follow Christ, you must vote for McCain. if you still choose to vote for Obama and follow Christ... you are choosing to disobey God and His Word. You are making the choice to ignore Christ and His sacrifice for your sins. In which case if you don't stand up to liberals and vote against God will as stated in the Bible, you are adding another sin to your life in which Christ died for, therefore reconfirming the fact that He did die for you to make sure that you can be forgiven and go to Heaven.

How can I say this? This is due to what the Bible tells us what God wills. He doesn't want babies to die, he doens't want all of this liberal idealogy on Homosexuality, marriage and other ideas to overrun His children and bring them farther from God and closer to Satan.

Pornography is a $5-billion-a-year business in America, but the cost to society is even greater. One organization tells how to fight against it.

This week is WRAP week -- an acronym for White Ribbon Against Pornography, which began on Sunday and will go until November 2. During WRAP week, people are asked to attach a white ribbon to their lapels, cars, or homes to show opposition to pornography. The white ribbon tradition began in 1987 when Norma Norris launched a campaign against pornography in her community, asking her friends and neighbors to don white ribbons to represent purity and decency and to tell others about pornography's negative effects.

Concerned Women for America (CWA) issued a press release to inspire the majority of Americans who, they believe, are "fed up and frustrated with the firehose assault" of pornographic images that invade advertising venues. CWA says individuals can fight against pornography in their local communities.

CWA spokeswoman Janice Crouse suggests many pornography users do not realize its danger until they are addicted. "What we are seeing is that people who start out seeing adult women in porn scenes tend to want to see younger and younger women and more and more violent scenes. So it's an addictive kind of behavior that ends up degrading and debasing the people who are involved with it," she explains.

Advocates of pornography often call it a "victimless crime," but CWA calls that claim false, and adds that it causes sexual dysfunction and deviancy that, too often, leads to violent crimes against women and children. "It harms marriages," Crouse suggests. "It harms people's images of womanhood and of sexuality."

Wendy Wright, president of CWA, echoes Crouse's sentiments, noting that "75 percent of convicted rapists admit they were acting out what they had seen in pornography, and 80 percent of child molesters admit their spiral downward began with pornography."

Addicts tend to have exaggerated expectations of the opposite gender, according to Crouse. Since the courts have protected the pornography industry in the past and up to a point, Crouse is hopeful America, as a nation, will work to protect the victims. She reminds Americans that obscene material is not protected by the First Amendment, contrary to the assertions of modern culture.

Praise the Lord for this wonderful release of these girls in bondage the for justice to those who have tekn these girls.

See, I knew I wasn't the only one to see the danger to marriage and our children due to pornography.

To all of you out there that think that porn is OK and that it doesn't hurt anyone... you're wrong!

This is a disease/addiction/problem that hurts families acroos the planet, not just in America. In countries like Russia, girls are being kidnapped and forced to do things they don't even know anything about at their age just to make someone else some cash.

I am sure that most of you that look at porn, don't even realize that a lot of those girls are even underage, even though they might look older or have womanly features... this doesn't mean they are old enough to be doing what they are doing.

This scars the girls who have to do this day in and day out, it harms the families that they are taken from, it hurts the male outlook on women overall and it harms the relationships of those who look at porn as well as the relationships of the girls that are forced into this later in life.

For those who think that porn is an art... get over yourselves... those who want to look at young girls with no clothing... your as much of a predator as the guy who takes the pictures and abuses those girls.

Don't get me wrong... God made the human body beautiful... but he didn't desgin us to take advantage of the youth like this.

You know, it is sad that we, as humanity, have come to a point where we think that abuse it normal. That it is OK to abuse another of our own species. And all for material gain. Pathetic...

Oh, and you women that think that porn is OK and yet fight for women's rights... you hypocrits! With one hand you want equal rights of women, yet on the other you allow the abuse of women everywhere by not fighting to being treated equally. Porn doe nothing for a girl/woman other than make men think that women are to be used sexually, gocked at and looked at like some object of pleasure whether than a person. If you want equal rights just as men... then act like itand fight against porn which show women as objects and not people.

No wonder why God destroyed those of the days of Noah with the flood waters. It is no wonder why His wrath will be put on those left behind in the Rapture. Man is corrupt, jealous, evil and lovers of only themselves.

All you people out there who think that porn is OK, that it is OK to look at naked girls for your own pleasures, those who kidnap young girls for your own financial gain... I pray that you will come to your senses, see the problems you made, release those girls from bondage and repent and come to the one who can remove and forgive you of this hidious act.

Christ loves you and has died for you... who else do you know was willing to give their life for you just for the sake of getting a chance to be with you? Come to Christ, repent and know that He died for you... love Him back and be released from this sickening thing we call porn.

The email message highlighted your organization's concerns regarding these hotels, and I wanted to take this opportunity to respond to you directly as this issue has been resolved. Women certainly don't profit from abortion, but the Quality Inn in Maple Shade, New Jersey does. In a story that has rattled the local community, New Jersey Right to Life confirmed this week that two area hotels are offering discounted rooms to women who can prove they've had an abortion. Both the Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill and the Quality Inn in Maple Shade reduce room rates by up to $50 for girls with a receipt from the nearby abortion center. The Quality Inn even goes so far as to give away "free pancake and egg breakfasts" to girls who can produce a stamped clinic pamphlet.

According to volunteers from the area's "40 Days for Life" campaign, many of the patients leaving the Cherry Hill clinic are "alone, crying, and in extreme pain." After their digoxin injections, these mothers are sent home or to area hotels to wait for their babies to die. The next day, they return to the clinic to deliver their dead children. Do these area inns really want to facilitate the killing process? And, from a legal standpoint, are they prepared to incur the liability if any medical complications arise? Unfortunately, the reason these women need a place to stay is because the clinics don't care enough about their health to monitor them overnight, despite the medical risks. That should be a clear signal to these hotels that local abortionists are harming women.

Of course, the hotels may honestly believe that theirs is a compassionate offer. But even with the best of intentions, a discount like this only makes it more affordable for young girls to cross state lines for an abortion. As the Right to Life branch accurately points out, New Jersey doesn't have a parental notification law on the books, making it an even more attractive location for young girls who want to obtain an abortion without ever calling home.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Some parents are shocked to find their children are learning to be homosexual allies and will participate in "Coming Out Day" at a public elementary school tomorrow – and they claim the school failed to notify parents.

One mother of a kindergartner who attends Faith Ringgold School of Art and Science, a K-8 charter school in Hayward, Calif., said she asked her 5-year-old daughter what she was learning at school.

The little girl replied, "We're learning to be allies."

The mother also said a Gay Straight Alliance club regularly meets in the kindergarten classroom during lunch.

According to a Pacific Justice Institute report, Faith Ringgold opted not to inform the parents of its pro-homosexual activities beforehand. The school is celebrating "Gay and Lesbian History Month" and is in the process of observing "Ally Week," a pro-"gay" occasion usually geared toward high school students.

The school is scheduled to host discussions about families and has posted fliers on school grounds portraying only homosexuals. According to the report, a "TransAction Gender-Bender Read-Aloud" will take place Nov. 20. Students will listen to traditional stories with "gay" or transgender twists, to include "Jane and the Beanstalk."

Some parents only recently noticed posters promoting tomorrow's "Coming Out Day." When WND contacted the school to confirm the event, a representative replied, "Yes, it is scheduled on our calendar."

When asked if the school made any efforts to inform parents, she refused to answer and said the Hayward Unified School District would have to respond to additional questions. However, the district did not answer its phones or e-mails, and a voicemail recording would not take messages. "Coming Out Day" is not listed on the district's online school calendar.

Some of the parents contacted Pacific Justice Institute for representation when they learned the school was pushing pro-"gay" events for young children without warning.

Brad Dacus, president of Pacific Justice Institute, said opponents of California's proposed ban on same-sex marriage, or Proposition 8, often say the measure would not have an effect on public schools – but this is one of many recent developments that prove otherwise.

"Do we need any further proof that gay activists will target children as early as possible?" he asked. "Opponents of traditional marriage keep telling us that Prop. 8 has nothing to do with education. In reality, they want to push the gay lifestyle on kindergartners, and we can only imagine how much worse it will be if Prop. 8 is defeated. This is not a scenario most Californians want replayed in their elementary schools."

Personal Note:
This, right here, is why I will not allow my kids to go to any public education course or school today.

Supposedly, teachers are not allowed to teach kids without parental concent. Those same teacher complain about their hands being tied.

Well I guess their not tied tight enough.

These 'field trips' and 'special days' for ikids are just discusting and wrong.

Parents need to be informed on EVERYTHING that goes on in school. No matter if it part of whatever course they are learning or not.

These are people kids... you are deciding that the parents don't matter. That whatever you believe is OK for every child.

I'll be glad when public schools finally goes bust. As it should have always been, schools need to be directed... not the ones to direct. Be allowing vouchers for students to go with them whereever they want to go for school... you get rid of vigilante schools like this one listed above. the ones who literally don't care of the students and their futures... rather they'd teach them what they think is right as opposed to finding out what the parents want their kids to learn.

If you have a problem with this... please post.

I don't plan an allowing my kids to be pawns in someone elses battle for whatever their teachers think is right in their own minds... you aren't the child's parent.

And another note... those teachers and schools that don't inform the parents of political, personal, religious and other decisions that they want to impose on the kids they teach... their cowards. Instead of informing parents like they should... they hide away and decide NOT to tell them in the hopes to indoctrine the kids they teach and to changea generation behind closed doors. The schools and teachers... they need to be fired and left out to ruin their own kids. Not the kids of every other parent.

Dear Johnathan,

Great news! Because of AFA supporters like you, McDonald’s has told AFA they will remain neutral in the culture war regarding homosexual marriage. AFA is ending the boycott of McDonald’s. As you know, AFA called for the boycott in May after McDonald’s joined the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

McDonald’s said McDonald’s Vice President Richard Ellis has resigned his position on the board of NGLCC and that his seat on the board will not be replaced. McDonald’s also said that the company has no plans to renew their membership in NGLCC when it expires in December.

In an e-mail to McDonald’s franchised owners the company said, “It is our policy to not be involved in political and social issues. McDonald’s remains neutral on same sex marriage or any ‘homosexual agenda’ as defined by the American Family Association.”

We appreciate the decision by McDonald’s to no longer support political activity by homosexual activist organizations. You might want to thank your local McDonald’s manager.

A message of Love...

To those who are in pain, need, who suffer, need love or feel that none care.

God loves you, us Christians, we love you. Sometimes we fall off the ball and don't show it or extend ourselves to take care of those in need. But that is our human condition. We all are selfish.

Sometimes we mess up and only care for our own needs and not the needs of others. Which our love and faith commands of us.

That is the reason for this message.

It maybe that you have never read the Bible or you have read parts and felt it didn't relate to where you are, or maybe that you feel that the God of the Bible doesn't care, or maybe you are just not to sure about and you even have a large question mark or decided for yourself that God does not exist. But I tell you that God is real and He loves you. You may have come across Christians who have seemed distant or uncaring and you even have been hurt by believers, but can I tell you that that's because Christians are all a work in progress and we make mistakes and we fall short of what we should be. The Lord Jesus may not always be reflected in the people who claim to be His. For that, I apologize to you for my own shortcomings and that of fellow believers but it does not take away from the nature of God who is a God of love and He cares for you very much. Every word in scripture is true, the message that runs throughout scripture is that, my friend, God loves you so much that He came in the person of the Son Jesus and died that you might have a relationship restored to Him and His Father. Jesus paid the price, the penalty for your sins, though He lived a life without sin He died that you might live and have a chance of living a life full of abundant love and so much more.

Many Christians do care though, we care about you and those who are in pain, are in need, who are hungry, thirsty or thatdon't have a palce to sleep. We have a message that has to be shared, for we have discovered the love of God and have received His free gift of salvation and want you to receive it to, hence the reason for this article. This gift that God gives is a hope for a better future, a peace of mind in today's hectic and unsure world and a heart for others to see thelove that you have in your own heart that only God can provide. I believe that you would find that there are many Christians who are involved in work with the needy, the hurting and foreign missions. Many give financially to those causes. So despite what you have experienced from Christians, there are many who do care and I care about your eternal destination.

Regardless of what you may think about the church, the faith, the people or even Christ, we are all here for you.

The ones that are lost, the ones that worked hard their entire lives and have everything, but still have a hole in their life that can only be filled by love... the love of God.

We Christians are supposed to be holding out our hands to you, extending the love of God to those who need love. This is what the Bible teaches us. Sometime we have a hard time expressing our desire to help others. Other times it isn't so hard and we do as we are supposed to. but, as I've said, we are human and can't help but to fail at times. That is why God loves us, not because we fail, but because with Him we can be perfected in love.

He, God, Christ, the Lord, the Savior, the Spirit... all One person. All God.

You may have heard plenty of Bible scriptures and plenty of people talk about God and you may think that you know that He isn't there, or is dead, or that He doesn't care for you... As what I'll show you... you are His most prized possession.You are God's child! You are the one that He died for. he cares so much for you, that he allowed himself to die for you. Who else do you know is willing to die for you?

He gave His own life, for you. For a chance to be with you... He did it for a chance...

He died for you, just to have a chance to live with you... who else do you know is willing to DIE just for you, to be with you? No one!

The Bible, again, you may be tired of it, tired of hearing its words... but the Bible is so much more than a book. So much more than a group of old tiring stories we've heard a million times. The Bible is a message of love, hope, mercy, life, healing, peace and harmony. Its entire being is only a message of these things. A love story that God that shows that He loves you so much. He chose to use some of the most influential people in history to show you that He is there, He is always there, and that He love you dearly and has done everything just to show you that and to have a chance to be with you.

You want to know how much He loves you? One of the most quoted verses in the Bible is this:

"For God so loved the world..." Do you know what He is talking about? Who/what is 'the World'? YOU are the world.

Those who are lost in life who have no way to turn, or anyone to turn to.
Those who feel that no one loves them and who are broken hearted.
Those that feel that there is no hope and worry about things like their next meal or where to sleep.

This single verse is speaking directly to you. If you'd like you can even go as far as tell it like this:

'For God so loved you, that He gave His only begotten son.'

Is that blasphemy? Is that me telling you something untrue and twisting His word? I believe not.

This Bible, this group of 66 books/letters, have been crafted through literally thousands of years through: Kings, Queens, servants, warriors, the lowest of the low and even written by those to once hated Christ and God; have been guided by God to write this book we call the Bible. And its single most important message, its single purpose...

To show YOU, how much He loves you. How much He cares... that He would/has sacrifice Himself, His only son, for you.

Would you sacrifice yourself, your life, or even or your son/daughter to show someone you love them without end?

I seriously doubt you really would. But God did already. He did sacrifice Himself and His only son for you. He has already paid the price for your sin. When we sin, we separate us from God. That is why sin is such a big thing to Him, regardless how small or trivial of what we've done.

You may feel condemned for the things you've done in your life. You may have a need to forget or correct those things. This conviction is the Spirit telling you to draw to God to get whatever is tormenting you corrected.

Rely on God, He can, and will help you in correcting those things. He will help you get your life straight again. He will help you heal your wounds of the past. If you only let Him.

You ARE NOT too far from God that He can't reach you.

You CAN NOT sin too much where God will not draw near to you to love you and care for you.

You ARE NEVER too far from God that He can't hear you.

A man and woman have had to go to court in California because they want to be recognized as married after officials rejected their marriage license because it listed "bride" and "groom" instead of "Party A" and "Party B."

After the state Supreme Court in May expanded the rights enumerated in the state constitution and found same-sex couples couldn't be denied marriage rights, "Many thought we couldn't go any lower," said Brad Dacus of the Pacific Justice Institute, which is working on the case. "We discovered actually we can."

Gideon Codding and Rachel Bird recently were married in Placer County, near Sacramento. However, surprised by new marriage license forms created by state bureaucrats with "Party A" and "Party B," they jotted an explanatory "Groom" and "Bride' next to "party" designations.

The couple soon discovered the strength of the pro-homosexual lobby in the state: The form was returned to Pastor Doug Bird, who officiated, with a form letter stating the license "does not comply with California State registration laws."

For years, however, the officials forms designated parties to a marriage as "Bride" and "Groom."

The couple now is filing a lawsuit in Placer County asking the court to order county officials to process the license, since without the form's registration, "the Coddings are not legally married and have been prevented from accessing the many benefits available to married couples."

"Being labeled by the state as 'Party A' and 'Party B" is demeaning," said PJI Chief Counsel Kevin Snider. "It's shocking that we have to litigate over whether newlyweds can call themselves a bride and groom."

Said Dacus, "Already, we are seeing the negative effects of gay marriage in California, as the state is changing centuries-old traditions to accommodate homosexuals. Unless the Protect Marriage Initiative, Proposition 8, is approved in November, we expect a tidal wave of new restraints and limitations to be imposed on people of faith."

Dacus told WND the right for a one-man, one-woman couple to be married "was in no way invalidated by the state Supreme Court's ruling respecting homosexual marriage."

"This is an outright act of hostility towards the established rights of people to be married as husband and wife, bride and groom," he said.

"It's one thing for the state Supreme Court to cram homosexual marriage down the throats of people who voted for Proposition 22, it's quite another for the state of California then to go so far as to make it impossible for a man and woman to be married as husband and wife in the state of California," Dacus continued.

Bird, pastor of Abundant Life Fellowship in Roseville, said he was told by officials in the county office that "Bride" and "Groom" amounted to "unacceptable alteration" to the form.

"What's next?" Bird wrote in a Sept. 4 letter. "Will the State of California force [ministers] to use the terms "Party A" and "Party B" in the ceremony itself?"

The state Supreme Court in May, in a 4-3 decision, declared that legal definitions of marriage as a union between a man and a woman were unconstitutional. Since the ruling, the generic designations were added by bureaucrats to legal documents.

Voters several years ago under Proposition 22 approved limiting marriage to one man and one woman. But the measure was a statute, which the Supreme Court simple disregarded. The Proposition 8 proposal would establish the definition in the state constitution, putting it beyond the reach of judicial activism.

Wow, uh... this is just stupid.

Now the husband and wife can't be seen as who they are, as a husband and wife?

The state would rather see a 'couple' as individual 'parties' as opposed to individuals.

I think it is clear to see the Prop. 8 is needed for the sanity of the people.

It is obvious reading in the articles that the people of California are against homosexual marriage.

maybe they should vote out the people in office for their stupidity.

I am sorry, but this just doesn't make sense.

Instead of offending a small group of people, you'd rather offend over 75% of the nation? What sense does that make?

Prop. 8 needs to be passed, no question about it.

If it doesn't then we can expect more things like this to come about and other events that will do nothing but harm our nation.

You know, reading this almost makes me feel like the bride and groom are part of a trial hearing: "And here as you can see is Exhibit A and Exhibit B." I guess pretty soon if liberals and homosexuals get their way, the current way of life, and that has been this way since the creation of man, we will soon be limited within the walls of the museum. As that is the only place where heterosexual ideals can exist without being persecuted... OK, well I take that back, it will still be persecuted.

A conservative analyst says the media are currently in a feeding frenzy, trying to assert that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is unfit to be vice president because her teenage daughter is pregnant. One pro-family leader says the way liberal media is reporting the story exposes a "rank hypocrisy."

Female news anchors and reporters from various media outlets, including CBS, NBC, and CNN, have suggested 17-year-old Bristol Palin's pregnancy should have disqualified her mother from becoming John McCain's running mate and raises questions about McCain's judgment. Katie Couric of CBS News even chided the McCain campaign for not notifying the press about the pregnancy sooner.

Bob Knight, director of the Culture and Media Institute, says it is quite humorous to watch the media "finally discover family values." Knight predicts that in light of the Alaska governor "saying that she's pro-life and her daughter's pro-life, and she decided to keep her Down syndrome baby herself and her daughter is keeping her baby and plans to get married...I think the attempts by the media to paint this as a moral crisis will fail."

Knight says in the end, the media "will have egg on its face" because Palin's family has rallied around her daughter and reaffirmed its belief that life is precious.

The head of the media watchdog group also predicts that the public can expect a full-scale attack on abstinence-only sex education in the coming days now that the media is fixated on the pregnancy of Palin's daughter. The New York Times featured three Page 1 stories on Bristol Palin in its Tuesday editions.

Knight says he is not surprised the media have devoted so much time to a matter that Democrat Barack Obama said should be off limits during the political campaign. "We don't even know what kind of sex education that Sarah Palin's daughter had," he exclaims. "I've not seen that in any reports." At least one TV journalist has suggested that Bristol Palin's pregnancy is a result of her mother's stated promotion of abstinence-only education.

Knight says the media are extremely annoyed that McCain made such a bold choice for VP that has been met with approval by so many people they dislike.

Media's double standard
Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women for America, says the mainstream media's treatment of Governor Palin and her pregnant teenage daughter "exposes rank hypocrisy." She says the Palins are dealing with their predicament in a responsible manner -- but that the media's coverage of Palin brings to light a clear double standard. (Listen to audio report)

Personal Note:
So the media is being prejudice against pregnant women now?

How in the world does it disqualify Palin from being VP if HER DAUGHTER is pregnant, at 17 years old?

I find it amazing how the 'Left' and the media believe that a pregnancy automatically disqualifies the grandmother of running in office. Does this mean that if someone is pregnant in my family and I can't work n the government?

The 'Left' and the media obviously do 'double standards' as long as they meet their goals and wants. This has been obviouse throughout the years.

Something that my parents did teach me was this: 'Two wrongs don'e make a right!' How else is the Palin family supposed to handle a pregnancy? Kill the child? Grow up and realize the life is important. if you wish for this little baby to be aborted, then you should ask yourself why your own mother didn't do the same to you!

That last statement is completely true and has been proven through the very media trying to harm the Palin family right now.

Only a year after banning all negative messages about homosexuality in public schools throughout the state, the California Legislature now is ordering school children to celebrate "gay" lifestyle choices.

Schwarzenegger should say no to this very inappropriate bill, which has nothing to do with academic excellence."[/quote]

Thomasson said the passage by lawmakers of AB 2567 will require all California public schools to "conduct suitable commemorative exercises" in honor of the anti-religious, sexual-anarchy agenda of Harvey Milk, the late San Francisco supervisor who was a homosexual activist.

The California Assembly approved the plan 43-26 and the Senate 22-13, with both votes along party lines of Democrats supporting the homosexual agenda.

"When fully implemented, SB 777 and AB 394 will teach children in California government schools to support homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality via instructional materials, programs and activities, and school 'safety' guidelines," he said. State lawmakers in California this week also voted to allow members of the Communist Party to not only rent school facilities for their meetings but also to teach in the state's public schools. Republicans proposed banning terrorists from those activities, but majority Democrats defeated the amendments.

The "gay" Milk Day plan should spur parents into action, Thomasson said.

The CCF announcement noted some of Milk's statements included a blanket condemnation of religion, which he described as "true perversion;" a mandate to "declare yourself gay or lesbian," and promotion of same-sex marriages, which were created by the California Supreme Court in May but are being challenged in the November election.

Personal Note:
I don't see celebrating someone unless they've done something worth celebrating.

If I am going to celebrate this Milk dud... uh... er... dude, I need to havea good reason.

Simply because he is trying to force kids to accept his way of life isn't something to celebrate... if we really want to go that far as to celebrate those who are forcing their way of life, then let's go ahead and celebrate Stalin or Hitler. They did the same thing, except they had many more peopel behind them.

There is no reason to celebrate what he did. I'd rather mourn his way of life than celebrate him.

And when will people realize that your sexual preference is who you are, it is what you do.

And to celebreate someone who provided no educational or academic contribution in schools isn't needed. They are simply trying to change children to accept them to breed a generation of soldiers for their cause.

A federal appeals court has agreed with a lower court's ruling that Temple University's so-called "Speech Code" is an unconstitutional restriction on the First Amendment rights of its students.

Christian DeJohn was a masters degree student at Temple who had some philosophical disagreements with some of his professors. But he knew that if he spoke out, in class or in public, he could be punished by the administration.

Attorney David Hacker, is with the Alliance Defense Fund. He says DeJohn knew about Temple's 'Speech Code,' which, he says, "is a harassment policy that is so vaguely worded and so broad in its language that, really, university administrators were able to punish any sort of speech that they deemed offensive. And Mr. DeJohn was troubled by that [and] felt he couldn't really express his opinions in class and with his friends. And so he felt it was really important to challenge this policy and get it overturned."

Hacker says both the federal district court and now the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals have found Temple's speech code unconstitutional. But he says similar policies are still in force at about three-quarters of the nation's public universities.

Universities and its staff are supposed to be the smartest people in the world.

Yet, they also seem not to be exempt from doing stupid things.

What I don't understand is how some so-called Christians can praise the Lord with the same mouth that they cuss and curse others when things don't go their way.

This is how I see it... if you cuss and curse and use the language of the world, how are you different than the world?

If you f-this and f-that and d-this and d-that... how can you praise the Lord the next sentence and proclaim Christ's word?

Definition of Cuss[ing]: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6

Given the Bible does not use the word 'Cuss' or 'Cussing', however multiple, if not all, dictionaries consider cussing and cursing all the same. And the Bible does say that Cursing out of your mouth isn't right.

What was His response? “When He was reviled, (He) reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously” (I Peter 2:23). We should remember that “a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger” (Proverbs 15:1).

Matthew 5 and Other Verses

I an another Christian recently had an issue with each other. We eventually came to a conclusion but not before embarrasing each other in the workplace.

But something was placed before us to research: What is the Biblical and proper behavior of a Christian?

I was listening to a dramatised version of the King James Bible and was given several verses that show an example as to what we should do and be like to the world:

The above shows us as to whom is considered blessed. If Christ sees them as blessed, so should we since we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Bless those who bless you.

Due to the persecution of prophets and other in Christ before you came to this earth, their sacrifice was also your gain as well as theirs.

The above is an example of our faith and how it should be displayed to the world. We are the light in the dark places. We set ourselves to be disiples of Christ to those who are sinners and who do not know Christ. Just as Matthew 5:16 said, let our light be shown before men and let those men see our good works, so they can give our Father the Glory.

Matthew 5:21 describes that you are to be judged by committing murder. However, Matthew 5:22 tells us that even if we get angry without any reason or cause, that we fall under the same judgement as committing murder. So we are not to become angry, upset or mad at another person because we can or for no reason. As also described above in verse 22, if you even as call another person worthless (Raca (Greek: G4469)), or a fool, or stupid you still fall under the same judgement. In otherwords, do not discredit another person and call names.

Although this does relate to old times were we used to bring gifts to alters, this still proves a good point today. The above scriptures gives us a way to better ourselves in reconciliation with one another. It shows that instead of offering gifts to reconcile our differences, it says to first reconcile with our brother, then offer gifts.

A lot of people today, especially parents who want to reconcile with their children, believe that things, objects and stuff can make things better between them. When all the child wants is an apology, more time, or even boundries for more security. Stuff doesn't make things better when you have an issue with someone else.

Aside from the old english, thee's, thou,s and art's, this is pretty clear. We all know today what happens when you offend another person and don't spearhead it and talk to them about it... you get sued or worse. So before you get sued, attempt to speak with your brother BEFORE they have a chance to take any legal action.

Pay what you owe to others. If you are due a penalty, take it with honor and do as the law states. Of course unless it contradicts the Biblical laws.

When you lust, you are allowing satan to bring ideas, images, thoughts and scenerios into your mind. The more you lust, the worse it gets. The more you think about it, the more you are likely to act on it. Just like any addiction, lust can also be addiction and is very difficult to get away from, pornography is a great example. So, before it become a problem, take care of it. If it is already an issue, seek help. Find other chruch members, speak to friends or speak to your spouse. (Yes this might grow into a fight or something, but eventually your spouse should come to the conclusion that you are seeking help and want to get rid of the urges and thoughts.) Do everything you can to break away from lust, it will do nothing but harm your relationship with the ones your love and it can even break apart the entire family.

I am not sure if this was meant to be literal. I bet that it is a metaphoric statement. That whatever you hold dear to your heart and consider as something you can't live without or can survive seperation from it, cast it away if it brings you to sin against God. It is much better to leave those things behind and follow God to Heaven and then to drownd in it and go to Hell and then the Lake of Fire for eternity.

Given the recent allegations against Planned Parenthood, one would think the organization would play it safe over the next few months and try to exercise some restraint. But the plan to stay under the media's radar is failing dismally in Oregon and Washington, where the local affiliate is making a full-scale assault on the morality of the states' young people.

On its new website, TakeCareDownThere.org, the group posts a series of videos so revolting that members of my staff were visibly shaken. In one clip, a girl tells her friends that she's staying home from a party to masturbate. When her pals look shocked, she says, "What? I like me. I like spending time with me. Tonight I think I'm going to go all the way with me." On another video, a "teacher" interrupts a boy performing oral sex on another boy and asks them where their condoms are. Others include videos called "Threesome" and "Let me do me," and a song about genitalia that reaches a level of vulgarity that would give even crude networks like MTV pause.

This site is nothing more than an online playground for the prurient. The screen promises "the ins and outs about the ins and outs," but the material is highly inappropriate for adults, let alone young children. Sadly, most parents are unaware that garbage like this is targeting their kids, and even fewer realize that they're paying for it! The website is a project of Planned Parenthood of Columbia Willamette, a Title X grantee. This is exactly why FRC has prodded President Bush to change the government's Title X regulations. Each year, Planned Parenthood pockets more than $300 million of your tax dollars. One way to de-fund the group responsible for obscene material like this is to end the meshing of Title X "family planning" funds with abortion mills. Call the White House switchboard today at 202-456-1414 and ask President Bush to separate these funds before more children are caught up in Planned Parenthood's pornographic web.

So this is meant for kids? Being vulgar, disrespectful and down-right rude? Does Planned Parenthood have any morals or respect to anyone, even those who are portential clients?

I agree that Planned Parenthood doesn't need to be funded by the government. Like anything else they should have to work for their money.

It must be true that they don't care for children. First off they want to kill them. Second, they don't care what children see. Third, and evidently due to 1 and 2, they obviously don't care about what happens to them.

HHS: Moving Rights Along

To the disgust of liberal, pro-abortion organizations, the Department of Health and Human Services is inching closer to its goal of strengthening the conscience protections for health care workers. For the last couple of weeks, the Bush administration has been considering draft regulations that "would deny federal funding to any hospital clinic, health plan, or other entity" that doesn't allow employees to opt out of practices that violate their moral or religious convictions, such as prescribing abortifacients or referring women for abortions.

Several Democrats insist that patients' rights should trump religious freedom. In a letter of support to HHS, 132 House members disagreed and signaled their support for the changes. The pro-abortion crowd, meanwhile, could barely muster even 100 members onto its letter of opposition. Additionally, FRC just sent a letter to Secretary Leavitt today cosigned by over 30 groups in support of regulation changes. As we fight for greater conscience exemptions, FRC continues to be front and center in the debate. Our own David Christensen was quoted in today's Washington Post and seen on CNN pointing out the regulations spell out legitimate differing views about what constitutes abortion and when life begins. These decisions are best left in the hands of individuals and not in the hands of politicians like Senator Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.).

Billions and Billions Disserved

Despite a boycott, McDonald's is showing no signs of reconsidering its partnership with the pro-homosexual crowd. In fact, rather than distance itself from the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the multi-billion dollar company is increasing its support. In addition to its hefty donation to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (which is funding efforts to defeat the marriage amendment in California), executives have also sponsored a San Francisco gay pride parade.

When asked by our friend Don Wildmon, President of the American Family Association, to remain neutral in the debate, McDonald's said, "[we] will continue to support the gay agenda including same-sex marriage." In a television commercial, the fast-food chain went so far as to express "pride" for being recognized by the HRC as a company that "actively demonstrates its commitment to the gay and lesbian community." Until McDonald's shows its commitment to American families, Lawana and I have eaten our last Big Macs. We refuse to let a single penny of our money fund the campaign to redefine marriage and sexuality.

Personal Note:
Personally, my family and I have supported the boycott. Although we have to go an extra half miel to Wendys to get a good burger and fries... we do it. Given a half mile isn't that far, you don't have to go much farther anyway to find another restuarant that has the same food, most times at better quanity.

I ask that you do the same.

Eventhough we really can't stop the homo agenda, wwe know it is going to get worse... the Bible tells us this, we still have the obligation to our families to fight it all the way.

Congress has been trying for more than a decade to protect children from violent and pornographic content on the Internet. Earlier this week, the federal courts again stopped their efforts.

The Child Online Protection Act would impose penalties on websites that make pornographic content available without some type of age verification – such as submitting a credit card number – to insure that viewers are 18 or older. Pat Trueman, special counsel to the Alliance Defense Fund and former chief of the Justice Department's child exploitation and obscenity enforcement unit, is not surprised the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals again struck down the law.

[quote]"The ACLU knows when you want to file a lawsuit against any federal law that would restrict pornography, you file it in the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals," Trueman explains. "So I suggest we take this ruling with a grain of salt and hope that reason would prevail at the United States Supreme Court."[/quote]

[quote]Trueman says the restrictions proposed by the legislation are very modest. "It merely says you have to keep hardcore pornography from kids on the Internet. That's something that we should all agree with. The ACLU doesn't, and now this 3rd Circuit doesn't," Trueman contends. There is no guarantee that will happen, however, Trueman warns. He says even conservative Justice Clarence Thomas has accepted the ACLU's "free speech" argument in protecting pornographers from similar legislation in the past. Trueman says you have to "throw reason out" to understand opposition to the law.

Personal Note:
I do not see a reason why anyone, in their right mind, would deny protecting chidlren.

So the ACLU thinks that showing porn to kids is OK? All for the sake of protecting YOUR rights to tell anyone anything you want? What about the kids you will eventually harm by allowing this material to easy flow into their lives?

Haven't they even thought of the fact that kids are being exploited sexually? Don't they see that this is connected?

The truth of the matter is that children are very impressionable. If you introduce something new to them, chances are they will try it.

Think I am wrong? Go ahead and tell a two year old a couple of cuss words and I garantee they'll repeat them, even while you are at Walmart getting your food and other items... they'll choose the most imperfect time to express what they've heard from their parents as well as the media dn others around.

This chould be a problem in limiting sexual content to kids. Anyone who suggests otherwise doesn't care for kids and only for themselves.

And if I were you, I would keep away from those who would rather protect themselves and not the young minds who will be leading this world someday.

New York's attorney general is threatening to sue cable giant Comcast if the company does not agree to his plan for limiting access to child pornography.

Several of the country's major Internet Service Providers have already agreed to New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo's "Code of Conduct," which the Democrat claims will reduce access to child porn online. Pat Trueman, the former chief obscenity prosecutor for the Justice Department, says in the past, states never placed a priority on child porn enforcement.

Critics of the plan say it will do little to block access to child porn and make it easier for the government to limit access to other, legal content online. But Trueman believes there can be a balance between respecting privacy and stopping criminal activity. "Your right to privacy only goes so far," he points out. "If you're committing a crime you're, in essence, giving up your right to privacy -- and a court can say, 'No, you've forfeited that right and law enforcement can have a peek,'" adds Trueman.

Comcast has already signed an agreement with 48 other attorneys general to fight child pornography, but that plan does not give the government as much control or access as Cuomo wants.

Personal Note:
Personally, I'd have to agree to a certain point.

if you are going to effectivly combat something like child porn or other 'hard to find' things like this, you will have to be able to search for it.

I have nothing to hide, so I do not mind them look at me everyone once in a while to make sure I'm not doing something I shouldn't.

And, for me, when it comes to the safety of my children, or other children... that takes priority over my own privacy.

But at the same time, since I do not have a history of illegal activity, they should not have to look at me as much as another person who does have a record or who is known to have been doing illegal activities.

Criminals normally lead to other criminals.

I do believe that a balance can be found to make something like this effective.

Really, all Comcast or other ISPs have to do is search within content that is tranfsered from them to others. They don't need to personally view everything that a person does but automate a search for specific words or sites or other content that could lead to child porn or other illegal activities.

The truth of the matter is that it really isn't about our privacy, as much as it is about protecting children. Kids are being exploited all the time, including sexual exploitation. Anything to hinder that is a good thing.

The Kansas Coalition for Life is raising questions about an abortion at George Tiller's abortion facility in Wichita.

The girl involved in the incident was brought to the clinic by her mother to have an abortion. Kansas Coalition for Life (KCFL) spokeswoman Mary La Francis says the girl was only 16 years old. "This is one thing we are observing now is underage girls, which constitutes statutory rape," La Francis contends.

The youngster's boyfriend, who wanted the child, arrived at the clinic, visibly upset. "These two young people were in love, wanted to get married," La Francis adds. "His family was very much in support of this and had offered to adopt the baby, [to] help them in any way that they could."

But the girl's mother threatened to disown her daughter if she did not go through with the abortion. According to La Francis, the boy went inside the clinic hoping to stop the abortion, with KCFL offering assistance, but it was too late.

[quote]"After talking with him for a few minutes, Jennifer McCoy [pro-life counselor] urged him to immediately go back in and explain that, if she did not want to go through with this abortion, that all she would have to do would be to say so and Kansas Coalition for Life could intervene, call the police, and come to her aid," La Francis explains. La Francis, knowing the teenagers will be impacted for life, believes the situation is all the more reason for states to pass laws making it illegal to coerce a person into an abortion.

Personal Note:
This right here goes to show how much Satan rules this world.

A solution was given to keep the baby alive, yet it was not taken.

It also proves that the mother doesn't really care for family. Sure, she sees this as 'helping' her own child... but what about her grandchild?

Oh, so since this wasn't planned... it isn't a person or the grandchild?

The girl's boyfriend and family wewre going to take the child and adopt it... why go have an abortion? What... to save your daughter what heartache? At least she could see the baby and know it is taken care of.

Instead of protecting your child from a natural birth, even a c-section, and from a life with a baby that she wouldn't even have to take care of, you instead torture her in knowing ther her own child was killed by your hand. Her own mother killed her child.

Operation Rescue's "Truth Truck," which sports large photos of aborted babies on its sides, was trapped in a situation in St. Louis that turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

Truck driver Mark Gietzen pulled the truck onto the parking lot of a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic. Operation Rescue's spokesperson Cheryl Sullinger picks up the story.

[quote]"Things went into complete bedlam, actually, at the abortion clinic," Sullinger shares. "The guards ran over and shut the gates. They called the police and...actually, by shutting the gates, prevented patients from entering the abortion clinic for a considerable amount of time."[/quote]

Police pointed out there was no signage restricting the parking lot to abortion clinic staff and patients only. "After a little discussion, they opened the gates and released the Truth Truck, and everyone on the street cheered because they thought that was an amazing thing," Sullinger notes.

According to Sullinger, the reality is that in trapping the truck behind a closed gate, more people saw it than otherwise would have, giving Gietzen additional time to minister to people entering the clinic.

[quote]"He was able to stay in the parking lot longer than he would have been able to, and women who were actually entering the clinic for abortions were checking the truck out and seeing the truth about what was going to happen to their babies in there," Sullinger explains. "And so, what [Planned Parenthood] meant for bad ended up being a good thing -- and so we're happy about that."[/quote]

After police pointed out the driver had done nothing illegal, the gate was opened and the truck exited, only to be greeted by a rousing cheer from pro-life demonstrators.

I like this idea!

OK, I believe that a lot of people out there think that the baby doesn't feel anything while it is being aborted, torn apart or sucked out (in pieces) of its mother.

The idea of throwing the reality of what happens to children as they are aborted is a good one.

It shows the reality of what these murder... uh... I mean 'doctors' (wink wink), actually do. And that is instead of abiding by their oath to 'do no harm' they are actually committing genocide... a silence Holocaust.

I see abortion no different than Hitler's Holocaust... and Hitler is Planned Parenthood. Reincarnated? For the most part I am speaking in figurative terms.

LONDON (AP) — The oldest surviving copy of the New Testament, a 4th century version that had its Gospels and epistles spread across the world, is being made whole again — online.

The British Library says the full text of the Codex Sinaiticus will be available to Web users by next July, digitally reconnecting parts that are held in Britain, Russia, Germany and a monastery in Egypt's Sinai Desert.

A preview of the Codex, which also has some parts of the Old Testament, will hit the Web on Thursday — the Book of Psalms and the Gospel of Mark.

[quote]"Only a few people have ever had the opportunity to see more than a couple of pages of the (Codex)," said Scot McKendrick, the British Library's head of Western manuscripts. The Web site will give everyone access to a "unique treasure," he said.[/quote]

Discovered at the Monastery of Saint Catherine at Mount Sinai by German Bible scholar Constantine Tischendorf in the mid-19th century, much of the Codex eventually wound up in Russia — just how exactly the British Library won't say, citing lingering sensitivity over the circumstances surrounding its removal from the monastery.

The British Library bought 347 pages from Soviet authorities in 1933. Forty-three pages are at the University Library in Leipzig, Germany, and six fragments are at the National Library of Russia in St. Petersburg. And in 1975, monks stumbled on 12 more pages and 40 fragments stashed in a hidden room at the monastery.

Biblical scholars are thrilled at the news that the Codex Sinaiticus — divided since Tischendorf's trip to the monastery in 1844 — is finally being put back together, albeit virtually.

In the past, anyone wishing to examine the document first hand would have had to approach the British Library "on bended knee," said Christopher Tuckett, a professor of New Testament studies at Oxford University.

[quote]"To have it available just at the click of a button is fantastic," he said. "You could do in two seconds what would take hours and hours of flicking through the leaves."[/quote]

Handwritten in Greek more than 1,600 years ago — it isn't exactly clear where — the surviving 400 or so pages carry a version of the New Testament that has a few interesting differences from the Bible used by Christians today.

The Gospel of Mark ends abruptly after Jesus' disciples discover his empty tomb, for example. Mark's last line has them leaving in fear.

[quote]"It cuts out the post-resurrection stories," said Juan Garces, curator of the Codex Sinaiticus Project. "That's a very odd way of ending a Gospel."[/quote]

James Davila, a professor of early Jewish studies at St. Andrews University in Scotland, said the Codex also includes religious works foreign to the Roman Catholic and Protestant canons — such as the "Epistle of Barnabas" and the "Shepherd of Hermas," a book packed with visions and parables.

Davila stressed that did not mean the works were necessarily considered Scripture by early Christians: They could have been bound with the Bible to save money.

The Codex itself is a fascinating artifact, representing the best of Western bookmaking, Garces said. The parchment was arranged in little multipage booklets called quires, which were then numbered in sequence.

The British Library bound its quires into two volumes after their purchase from the Soviets, one of which is kept on show in a climate-controlled, bulletproof display case. Visitors can peer at the ancient book, but only see two pages at a time.

By next July, the entire Codex will be available for free — along with transcription, translation and search functions — on the Internet.

We might even find something interesting about some stories in the Bible.

I pray that most of the text is correct in modern translations, i.e. KJV, etc.
